Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize general ledger operations with monthly/quarterly closings
- Prepare complex financial statements and compliance reports adhering to GAAP standards
- Lead month-end/year-end accounting processes and reconciliations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting efficiency
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance protocols
- Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting systems
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUP)
- Proven track record of process improvement and cost reduction
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
