Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and variance reports to meet regulatory night-closing deadlines.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and coordinate with external auditors.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with the day-shift finance team to ensure seamless data transfer and process continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a preference for candidates familiar with night shift operations.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
