Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and support year-end financial audits.
- Maintain and organize general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for department leadership.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
