Job Description
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant to join our elite finance team in San Francisco. This is a high-impact role offering a night shift schedule with the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while driving financial excellence.
As part of our growing remote finance department, you will be the guardian of our financial integrity, handling complex reconciliations and reporting with precision.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable during the night shift.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes with remote teams.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances for management review.
- Support internal and external audits with timely documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Mandatory: Must be available and willing to work the night shift (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM PST).
- CPA certification or equivalent advanced accounting designation is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration.
