Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team on a Direct Hire basis. This is a Night Shift position offering a hybrid remote flexibility for candidates based in Oklahoma City. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of our financial data and supporting our operational needs during critical business hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including adjusting entries and variance analysis.
- Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of precision.
- Generate and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize billing cycles and cash management strategies.
- Support audit requirements by providing requested documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a night shift environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting during night hours.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is a plus.
