We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Accountant to join our night shift team in Houston, TX. Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
- Review and process accounts payable and receivable invoices to maintain cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or NetSuite).
- Must be available to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST/CT).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
