Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Conduct accurate financial reporting and analysis for the night shift closing process.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations with a high degree of precision.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and local regulations.
- Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger adjustments.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Maintain organized filing systems for all financial records and transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proven experience working in a high-volume financial environment or night shift accounting roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
