As a Senior Accountant on the night shift, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring accurate reporting. We are looking for someone who takes pride in precision and thrives in a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and account reconciliations for multiple entities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and variance reports for leadership review.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and tax filings.
- Maintain and update internal controls and accounting policies.
- Review and approve journal entries to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Provide support to the finance team during high-volume reporting periods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Must be available to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
