Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Accounting Operations: Manage general ledger entries, perform bank reconciliations, and ensure the accuracy of all financial data.
- Payroll Administration: Assist in processing payroll and ensuring tax withholdings and deductions are calculated correctly.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and monitor variances against actuals.
- Compliance & Audits: Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and ensure all regulatory compliance requirements are met.
- Expense Management: Review and approve expense reports, ensuring they adhere to company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication skills.
