Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial data and reports.
- Oversee the monthly and annual financial close process, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights to senior management.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is strongly preferred.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present to stakeholders.
