Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (Balance Sheets, P&L, Cash Flows)
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict deadlines
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure compliance
- Conduct forensic audits and variance analysis for operational efficiency
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary cloud-based accounting systems
- Develop customized financial forecasting models for strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with Big 4 or equivalent
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Oregon tax codes
- Proven track record of managing high-volume client portfolios
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or similar designation a plus
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
