Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow) with executive summaries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Implement and maintain internal controls for compliance with GAAP/FASB standards
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly/year-end filings
- Lead month-end closing processes with zero tolerance for errors
- Train junior staff on financial software and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (advanced formulas, VLOOKUP)
- Proven track record of managing complex reconciliations and month-end closes
- Deep understanding of GAAP, FASB, and IRS regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong problem-solving skills for resolving discrepancies in financial data
