Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes under direct supervision.
- Generate basic financial reports and assist in variance analysis.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or Associate degree in Accounting/Finance preferred (Bachelor's degree a plus).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles or a strong willingness to learn.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
