Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for internal stakeholders and external audits.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all reconciliations are current and accurate.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to drive operational improvements.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
