Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger accounts and perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Conduct audits of financial records and internal processes.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- CPA certification or CPA candidacy is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
