Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze variance reports to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and tax filings to ensure full compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Review and approve journal entries and general ledger transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure cash flow management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Deep understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information to stakeholders.
