Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and posted timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform complex account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process and prepare variance analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
