Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing with federal and state authorities.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial controls to minimize risk.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and forecast financial performance.
- Prepare variance analysis reports to highlight key financial trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
