Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly and annual closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and tax filings under the guidance of senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
