Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors for seamless compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial accuracy and regulatory adherence
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax compliance regulations
- Proven track record in financial reporting and analysis
