Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process weekly payroll for multiple employees using QuickBooks Online.
- Prepare and send monthly invoices to clients and track outstanding payments.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Assist the finance manager with financial reporting and budget analysis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial staff.
