Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate weekly disbursements.
- Prepare and maintain the general ledger and monthly financial reports.
- Process invoices, verify expenses, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight weekly deadlines with high accuracy.
