Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a monthly and annual basis.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Payroll Management: Assist in the monthly payroll process, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Compliance & Auditing: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Expense Management: Review and process expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Month-End Close: Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP and tax compliance requirements.
