Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual audit and tax documentation.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in urgent scenarios.
