Responsibilities
- Manage Month-End Close: Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely closing of monthly and annual financial periods.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare complex financial statements, variance analysis, and reconciliations for management review.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with GAAP and assist in external/internal audits with zero discrepancies.
- Process Improvement: Streamline accounting workflows and implement new accounting software protocols.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate compensation processing.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP.
- Software: Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
