Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Oversee payroll processing and assist with the annual external audit coordination.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a professional services or corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, internal controls, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
