Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in strict accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Perform high-level account reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and drive process improvements.
- Manage fixed asset accounting and assist with internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- CPA certification is highly preferred; Masterβs degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in advanced accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with senior management and external stakeholders.
