Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or audit issues immediately.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and perform variance analysis to help drive business decisions.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are posted correctly and supporting documentation is maintained.
- Collaborate with the external audit team during year-end audits and provide requested documentation efficiently.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is a significant plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect and resolve errors quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
