Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Oversee daily accounting operations, including the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger (GL).
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the full cycle of AP/AR, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and resolving discrepancies.
- Compliance & Auditing: Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and conducting variance analysis.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to increase operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Payroll Support: Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate payroll processing and tax filings.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certification: CPA certification is highly preferred; CMA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of accuracy and data integrity.
