Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with precision
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable optimization and reconciliation activities
- Develop and implement financial reporting systems for executive stakeholders
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
