Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing data-driven recommendations to management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to facilitate a seamless review process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
