Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and loan reconciliations monthly.
- Process payroll for a small team of employees accurately and within deadlines.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including financial reporting.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate categorization of transactions.
- Prepare and organize financial documents for tax preparation and audits.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax compliance regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines independently.
