Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal review and stakeholder reporting.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor relations and billing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing with federal and state authorities.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of financial reconciliation and auditing principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
