Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal financial policies.
- Assist in external and internal audits, providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Support the finance manager in budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
