Responsibilities
- Prepare and review accurate monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
- Ensure strict compliance with HMRC regulations and internal financial controls.
- Oversee a small team of junior staff, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Assist with external audits and tax filings to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and strategic planning support.
Qualifications
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification (Part-qualified to Fully Qualified).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in a corporate finance environment.
- Proven experience with accounting software (Sage, Xero, or SAP preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Macros).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
