Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with variance reporting
- Coordinate internal and external audits while maintaining compliance
- Develop and implement financial controls and process improvements
- Assist with budget forecasting and cash flow management
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel
- Proven track record of improving financial processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
