Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and tax preparation
- Lead special projects including system implementations and process automation initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and ensure adherence to company financial policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Demonstrated experience in financial statement preparation and complex reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
