Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and financial reporting efficiency.
- Prepare tax schedules and support the external audit process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
