Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions and ensure 100% accuracy in the general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns, ensuring full compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend improvements to internal controls.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline month-end close processes.
- Support external auditors with requested documentation and schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA Candidate status is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
