Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and timely.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes efficiently.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
