Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage inter-company account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, optimizing cash flow management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and provide requested documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
