Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance analysis, and cash flow reports in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget and assist in monthly financial forecasting.
- Oversee the reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved.
- Support external auditors and internal tax compliance requirements.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience; CPA certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
