Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashing checks, handling deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues with a professional demeanor.
- Cross-sell and refer bank products and services, such as savings accounts, certificates of deposit, and credit cards, to meet customer needs.
- Maintain strict adherence to bank security protocols, including monitoring surveillance cameras and reporting suspicious activities.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming branch environment for all visitors.
- Perform routine filing, data entry, and administrative tasks to support branch operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in cash handling, retail, or customer service is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to count money accurately and quickly under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, POS terminals, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must pass a background check and comply with all banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
