Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable processing.
- Assist with monthly and year-end audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve complex accounting issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
