Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts, perform complex reconciliations, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Assist with the preparation of corporate tax returns and ensure timely filing with federal and state authorities.
- Conduct internal audits to identify process improvements and mitigate financial risks.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow and vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis within the US.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software (NetSuite preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
