Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting cycle, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and external audit schedules.
- Monitor and manage cash flow and budget forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and internal control procedures.
- Utilize financial software to generate accurate reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA certification is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
