Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Implement and optimize internal controls for SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead process improvement projects using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Conduct audits and ensure GAAP compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax filings a plus
