Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and examine financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintain general ledger entries and ensure all financial data is up-to-date.
- Support the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
