Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports for executive review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives
- Lead accounts reconciliation processes and resolve discrepancies with vendors/clients
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Manage tax preparation and filing processes for state and federal requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights clearly
