Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger accounting and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to the Finance Director regarding budget variances and financial performance.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and ensure proper capitalization of expenses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (CPA/CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
